Candle Wedding Favors: A Heartwarming Gift

Candles for Wedding Reception Favors are the Gift that Keeps Giving

If you are trying to decide what to give as favors at your wedding, consider candles. There are many reasons candles make good wedding favor gifts. Cost efficient, useful and memorable, they are sure to please.

Candles can be a very cost efficient gift to give to your guests. Because favors are relatively small in size, costs can be very reasonable even for special candles. There are many varieties specially suited for weddings. Many are already prepackaged for easy distribution. (Keep in mind that prepackaging adds considerably to the cost, but the convenience is wonderful during busy wedding preparation times.)

Candles are something everyone can use. Your guests will remember your special event when using them at their homes – either for display or lighting. Most people both young and old enjoy candles.

Many candle favors can be purchased with personalized. The holder may be engraveable or a small card may be attached with the couple’s desired words. Personalization is a wonderful way to give something commemorative. Another way to personalize is to buy richly scented candles with a scent that is dear to you.

You’ll be surprised at the number of choices you have for candle favors. Hanson Ellis has some great wedding favor candles. Some of the shapes available are: a pair of pears, silver engravable bucket candle with tassel, Cinderella slipper, wine bottle, heart shaped, wedding cake shaped, tealight in a holder with a silver heart lid and more.

My Wedding Favors has a very cute assortment. Some of their candles include: peas in a pod, martini glass gel candles, teacup tea lights, Faith Hope and Love trios, long stem rose, calla lily votive, champagne gel candle and wedding bell candles, to name a few.

Prices range anywhere from around 0.99 each for small candles to 14.99 for personalized or engraved holders and candles. Finding something to suit your budget is easy.

Both of the above stores operate online. Their favors can be ordered and shipped to the United States and even Canada with some exceptions (food products may be exempt for delivery in Canada at Hanson Ellis).

It may be wise to exercise some caution when giving candles at your reception. Consider including a small note with the gift asking that the candles be saved for use at home and not be used at the reception. You want to prevent any fire related mishaps from happening at your wedding party. You might also want to announce it again later during the speeches to remind everyone not to light the candles during the function.

Also include any instructions necessary. If the candle requires a holder to burn safely, be sure to include the information for each guest. Safety at home is equally important as safety at your function.
