Aromatherapy Through The Use of Candles
Like most things these days, there are candles that have better essential oils than others. Look for the candles that use 100% pure essential oils. You can even go so far as to look for oils that are derived from organically grown sources and have no diluting agents or extenders added to them. I find the aroma from 100% pure oils is much more pleasing than any of the synthetic varieties and well worth the extra price. Though there is some debate as to whether aromatherapy actually has any medicinal value it is still, without a doubt in my mind, a very good way to set the mood and relax my mind and body. Candle lit rooms alone provide a relaxing setting and what better way to add to the moment than to have a wonderful aroma of a relaxation essential oil permeate the air. Keep in mind that candles scented with essential oils can also be used to energize and invigorate. If you are going to burn the candle at both ends, mind the pun, I recommend lighting an invigorating aroma candle to breath some life back into your body and soul. |
